About Kayla
Kayla Kirk, LCSW
Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in the DFW area in Texas. I received my Bachelor's degree from Oklahoma State University and my Master's degree from Texas State University. I have experience working with adolescents and adults in outpatient private practice, non-profit organizations, as well as treatment center settings. My time as a therapist has allowed me to gain a wide range of expertise as I have spent time helping high-risk children and adolescents in the foster care system, performed in-home crisis intervention, managed cases in community counseling organizations, and facilitated family, individual, group, & trauma counseling with teens with eating disorders at high levels of care. I have a passion for working with adolescents and young children struggling with their mental health, with a goal of helping them realize their self worth and potential. I am currently working towards becoming a certified eating disorder specialist, as building a healthy relationship with food is often such a crucial part of our mental health foundation.
I am a Texas native and I love hiking, traveling, spending time with my two Australian Shepherds, and cycling!
